Someone take a look at these tires sizes
I just bought some new 20 inch saleens(black) I have the sportline kit and want to keep the wheel wells as full as I can. Im going with the same profile as the sportline kit completely leveled out the car. So please help.
Stockers are 235/55/17 Diameter 27.17
New possible tires 285/40/20 and 255/40/20
the difference in diameter is 28.97(concerned with this but I think it may work) and 28.03
Choice 2 285/35/20 & 255/35/20
27.5 and 27.02
Choice 3 285/30/20 and 255/30/20
These I know will work for sure

I think you are likely to rub a bit with that tire set-up, but probably not major. I recommend option 2 and will certainly work with option 1, but will have the gap you don't want.
You didn't mention wheel width. I figure 9"s & 10"s? If so, you may consider 265~275/35's up front and up to a 305/35 out back (I know Goodyear makes the Eagle F1 GS-D3 for a 10" wheel, although NOT a fan of that particular tire). This will fill your well a bit better and not cause a rubbing issue (maybe slight on liner, but no worries). You can look at 06Saleen3V's ride (Saleen & Roush section mostly) and he runs similar set-up on Sportlines (255/35's and 305/35's, I think). PM him for exact config as his current sig is not up-to-date.
Give us wheel sizes, off-sets and possibly a link to wheels and will be able to get a little more exact fitment suggestions.
