I'm not so sure about that. As far as I know, the FR500C and FR500S cars don't adjust the front geometry at all (except camber) after lowering and they seem to get around the track pretty well.

I would really like to find the stock S197 suspension numbers somewhere to plug into one of the suspension programs and really find out what is happening. Because it looks like I am not going to crawl around under the car and do it myself.

Which is where.....? Where they SAY they are in their ads? Much of Steeda's stuff is LICENSED to Steeda. They are notorious for being copycats and have been sued plenty, which is why many people refer to them as "STEALA". They sued FORD...aka THE HAND THAT FEEDS THEM - over the cmcv delete plate issue. Their championships?....um yeah - how many cars are running around with Steeda's wonderful 5 link??? I'm sure they'll be tooting their horn over Burnet's championship that was won by his driving and not their stuff. They have lousy business practices and let people sell their stuff that have no idea what it is or even own Mustangs.

They have a few nice pieces, but overall they got to "where they are at" due to great marketing. Truth be known, a Griggs or Maximum car can, has, and always will walk all over them every time.

I wouldn't be all that proud of them being the #3 guys in the Mustang business. They're great at MARKETING. Maximum and Griggs run fewer ads and sell more stuff because the proof is on the track - not page whatever of MM&FF.

BOTH the FR500C and FR500S run car-specific tie rod ends, along with other parts. Look it up for yourself - Don't just guess or assume.

In all technicality, bump steer never goes away. Even at factory settings bump steer still exists it is just that the manufacturers adjust the settings so that the suspension travel has kind of a safe zone or range where bump steer doesn't occur as dangerously as apposed to outside of those safe zones or ranges.

Of course as soon as your lower your car you are moving the suspension travel outside of that safe range potentially into a dangerous range. I thought Ford set these newer S197 with such a wide safe range, or maybe I should say non-effected range, that you can still get away you lower the car it is still in a safe zone.
