Default FRPP and Eibach

Another quick question....Are some of the components in the FRPP suspension package made by Eibach, i.e. springs...etc? Thanks

I had an Eibach(FRPP handling pack) on my 06'GT.It handled very well but it turn the hiway into a washboard. A different set of dampners like Tokicos would work well those lowering springs.I did like the drop.

Yeah, I have the FRPP Handling Pack and am changing the dampers to Koni adjustables for the same reason; the FRPP dampers are to stiff for even mildly rough pavement.

I made the mistake of purchase both the eibach pro kit and the frpp springs before I knew that they are both the same springs. In my opinion, the frpp gives the car a slight rake whereas the pro kit is more even. Has anyone else noticed this?

No way, they are the same parts. All of the FRPP spring kits I've installed have the Eibach logo and part numbers still screened on them. You may have installed the rear springs slightly differently or not clocked the springs the same.

Also when you gun the lower damper bolts on with the axle in the air you are preloading the dampers isolators and this can cause the *** end to stick up as much as a 1/2"! You need to torque the lower damper bolts with the axle on the ground or loaded with a floor jack to get proper ride height at the rear of the car.

There are lots of ways to mess up even this simple suspension install and people are always finding new ways to do so. I've had the opportunity to correct several botched suspension installs with perfectly good parts for people who had them installed by people they paid to do the installation. Just because the shop has a sign and air guns doesn't mean they have a clue about performance suspension mods.

HTH!
