Default Strut tower bar

Is the strut tower bar worth the money? Can you actually feel it?Is it functional? I would love to get one but I need these Q's answered first.

Hello, it depends alot on what type of driving you are doing. If your doing some autocrossing or hard street driving the brace will stiffen your front end and keep the tires planted better than not having a brace on the car at all. If you drag race the car the bar isn't going to help you out as much. If you have any questions about our products please give me a call.

BS

It isn't necessary. It adds unnecessary weight to the car in the absolute worst place. I have run with and without them with no discernable difference. F1Fan actually did string tests. They are a carryover item from the previous generation Mustangs that were flex boxes. The SN95 car was 25% stiffer than the Fox, and the S197 is 70% stiffer than that. My S197 flexes less than my '93 Cobra - and it has a full road race cage. People think because the last Mustangs needed them that this one does too.

The ultimate fact of the matter is that they are cheap to make and stand out at car shows where chrome and 'dubs are more important than performance. Most manufacturers are keen to this and market them to people that don't know any better. Funny you wont find one for sale on Griggs' or MM's sites.....

Save your money and spend it on something that will actually help you or the car.

RodeoFlyer-

All that info and you didn't add how good they are to hang the motor from while changing out the K-member? lol

Strut tower braces are only bling on these cars, not needed at all. Anyone that says it helps is just trying to justify there purchase.

Yes but they do look good

I guess that means there are three things on my car that don't make it go faster, handle better or stop better;
1) strut tower brace
2) chrome exhaust tips
3) extra anti theft system
