Read the almighty sticky on lowering the S197 Mustang: https://mustangforums.com/forum/s197-handling-section/87810-lowering-your-05-06-mustang-gt.html. If you still have questions then there are folks who will try to help. The rear install is super easy. The front a little more involved, there are "how-to's" we can point you to if you want to tackle them yourself. What it will cost a shop to do it will depend on the parts you buy (thus the reason you need to read the lowering thread). Just springs (not recommended) will be pretty cheap (I'm guessing in the 150 -300 range depending on where you live and the prevailing shop rate), but springs, dampers, camber adjusters, aliginment...it adds up.

Also - fill us in here: you have a sig pic (its too big by the way) of an SN95. You have several posts asking questions about the SN95. And here you are asking questions about an 08GT - two cars?

I don't think you'll be able to lower a car properly for $500 parts + labor. Tell your friend to save up some cash and do it the right way the first time. In the mean time, read the almighty car lowering thread found in this very forum and do some independent research.
