where is a good place to purchase the UPR ones?
I went to their website and it says the UPR are made of Chrome-moly...is that steel?...is it weldable?

Late Model Restoration
Use the link I provided just below the pic in post #8 above to take you directly to ones pictured. These are listed as "race only" so will be more heavy duty than the others of same design. These are going to weigh in a tiny bit more then others, but I like the quality
.
These will be a nice improvement over the stock ones for both handling as well as launching. Some will say overkill, but if you are serious about handling, cornering and launching, you will NOT find yourself needing to upgrade from others you may buy to save $100.

These are an interesting design and one's I've contemplating purchasing..

^ The only issue I would have with the above ones, is lack of adjustability. If car is not lowered, or going to be, you will be fine. For the money, I would prefer to have the adjustability as an option.

Do you need lower adjustability if you plan to add an adjustable upper? I thought the adjustability was for pinion angle and the upper should accomplish that, correct?
I'm no suspension expert. There are possibly suspension tweaks that can be done with the lowers that the single upper is not capable of. I'm not sure...
If someone could clear that up it would be great because I only plan to get an adjustable upper CA/non-adjustable lowers and will change my plans if necessary.

An adjustable UCA allows for setting the pinion angle if the car is lowered or a one piece drive shaft is added.
Adjustable LCA's allow for setting the pinion angle as well as making sure that the the rear axle is truly perpendicular to the car's centerline. Due to production tolerances it may be slightly skewed.
