Default Thought of the TPMS DELETE SOLUTION (( MAYBE ))

I think I have the solution to the ongoing TPMS dilemma .

ANSWER = not to delete the sensors . Install all 4 sensors in the spare tire that way they will never leave the car no matter how many sets of rims you swap out .

You will also know if your spare tire goes flat on one side hahaha.

If you don't have to drill valve stem holes at all then great . I have never seen one up close so I don't know how they are attached . Either way just put all 4 sensors in the spare.

Default sensor style

the ford style tpms on the mustang attach to the center of the wheel via a strap, they are not part of the valve stems. you could disloge the bead of the spare and throw them in the tire, then refinflate, but if you ever needed to used the spare, sensors would probably be damaged. some have had some luck with a pressurized canister made of pvc. i thought about a glass mason jar, since they are pretty much vac sealed from the lid, just drill one hole in the metal lid, after all sealed up, and pressurize to 32 psi.

Some people have put them in a PVC pipe and pressurized it. Don't know how that's working out, though.
