Default Steeda front sway bar mount

Will these mounts work with the stock sway bar?

I would say no. It has the opening for the larger Steeda bar, so our smaller stock bar wouldn't work. Why do you want the mounts for the stock bar, anyway?

I was just looking around on some sites, and they kept popping up. Didn't know if it would be worth the money. I guess since I don't have the Steeda sway bar, I don't need the mounts. The stock mounts seem less stronger compared to what the Steedas look like.

You wouldn't be able to tell a difference even if they did fit. The stock bar isn't stiff enough to necessitate heavier duty brackets.

They are 1-3/8" bushings (34.9mm) and stock bar is 34.0mm. They sort of fit. The brackets do not accept stock Ford bushings if that's a plan some are thinking of.

We've blown up many, many of the Energy Suspension brackets that come with the FRPP bars (on Shelby GT's) and those brackets are a necessity for Shelbys being autoxed (and I've seen the OEM stuff deformed even from street use).

The fact is this. The Ford brackets are better than the ES brackets that the FRPP bars come with and are prone to failure. The Ford brackets are not super duty strength either. Unless you are autoxing, tracking or otherwise running on very sticky tires you likely will not have a major issue, at least for a while. But that is a weak part that's setup in a way that causes more flex on the bracket. I'd change them, and in fact do so often I stock a set on a normal basis.
