Camber Plates v. Camber Bolts... Any Difference?
Assumming that budget is no issue, what are the major advantages of using the plates over the simple bolts to correct camber issues after lowering? Is there really any major difference between them in terms of performance?
Second part, are those advantages worth the extra $200?

I think that this currently active thread answers some of your questions https://mustangforums.com/forum/s197...-question.html

Second part, if its worth the extra money is going to be something that the buyer is going to have to ask themselves. If you don't need the addition of castor adjustment then i would say no.
The cheap aftermarket camber bolts are not very big and can slip. Ford makes some offset head bolts (for not quite half the price of plates or HD mounts) that also require you to open up the bottom hole on the strut. Further, aligning a car with bolts is just a bigger hassle than using plates.
Cost not a factor? Plates. I agree if you don't need caster adjustment (and there is lots of it in the car already, about 7 degrees), then you don't need full blown plates. I do a lot of the Steeda HD mounts. They give you some adjustment, generally more than enough to get any out of spec car in, and/or get enough negative camber for increased grip if you are corner carving... And you get a tougher mount than the Ford version which can break (though I don't find them as bad as many others do).
