Default SLP Line Lock Question

Getting ready to install an SLP line lock kit in my 06 GT. Question I've got is has anyone changed out the plastic paddle switch for a regular toggle switch? Reason I ask is I want to put switch safety cover over switch to prevent inadvertent actuation and can't seem to locate one that fits over the plastic paddle.

If you have replaced the switch, what switch did you use and where did you get it?

Any help would be appreciated!

I'll have to get you a picture... I ditched the toggle and installed a covered switch just to the right of the radio, on the side trim panel.

I had already decided to sacrifice that panel to mount an extinguisher for a track day, so no harm really. What's nice is that the switch is just about a finger tip away when my hand is on the shifter. Makes for a smooth transition rolling out of a burnout at the strip.

Got the switch from Autozone/ Advance (I forget) in the ricer aisle. About 9 bucks.

I got this one... NOS-15606NOS

That's the Summit part number, listed at like 25. Autozone was considerably cheaper.

20 amps according to the Summit listing.

How did the install go? Got any photos of the finished product? The reason I am asking is that these are on my long list of mods, but not too far down on that list (maybe this year).
