Default Picking out drag wheels/tires

can anyone give me a suggestion on what I should run for my drag wheels/tires I am just looking at getting a 15" wheel and throwing the biggest MT slick possible on there... thanks for the help... I was looking at these because they are dirt cheap http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Those wont fit your car. The backspacing for 15" wheels varies between 6 3/4 and 7 1/2". Not to mention you will need to grind and or relocate your rear sway bar.

If you have an extra set of 17" OEM wheels you can get any of Mickey Thompson drag radials or the ET STreet bias ply 26x17x11.5.

you go from wanting the biggest MT slick on a 15 to ordering a Nitto DR, that makes no sense IMHO. I understand going to the 17 as it is much less costly and a direct bolt on, so its simple, but a Nitto is probably the least sticky DR you could get.

a MT 295/40/17 ET SR II would be a much better choice IMHO or a 26X11.50-17LT ET Street for a bias ply option

+100 on that.
M/T is a different league of drag tire than Nitto
MT 295/40/17 ET SR II would be the best choice!

Nittos are what people use on their DD because they last a lot longer than MTs do and have some tread.. for pure track use might as well get MT.. they make soem good ones that fit that rim.. 26x11.5x17 works well on it

I have some MT ET SR IIs on my car for about 3000 miles and 3 track rentals IIRC and there is still some tread left. IMHO no track days and limited burnouts, they would be good for 5-7K for street use
