Default 20's

I have 20's on my car. This is the first set of 20's I have drove on. I have noticed I have a much heavier wheel, is this normal? When I turn a corner sharpe I have to give a little more crank on the wheel. Is this because of the size of the tires and rims?

Less expensive 20's do tend to be heavier . . .

When I turn a corner sharpe I have to give a little more crank on the wheel.
Does that mean you need to use more force to turn the wheel or that you just have to turn it further?

Is this because of the size of the tires and rims?
Perhaps. Or the width of the wheel as compared to the tire size. Or low inflation pressure. Or incorrect wheel offset. Or alignment settings.

When I switched from 20s to 18s I noticed a big difference in the turning. The car was a lot sharper handling, this was with street tires and street alignment as well. Also noticed the ride quality got better wasnt as harsh.

I do think the 20s look better. Nice looking ride!

The weight of the wheel can slow you down on acceleration and turning(look up rotational mass). Especially when making a quick turn, your 20's weigh 5 to 10 pounds more than a stock 18" wheel(28lbs).Then add the weight of a 20" tire.
I went back to a 17" wheel which weighs 21lbs(each) an noticed a huge difference in overall handling, turning and acceleration.
Your car looks great !
