Suspension
I'm looking at getting the eibach pro kit. Any likes, dislikes? If you could do it over again what would you go with? This car is a DD so I'm still looking for a decent ride quality. Also I'm looking at some fr500's. I'm probably going with 18's, 17's are too small but I'm thinking 20's may be too big. I cant decide if I want to do a deep dish rim or not also. Should I do rims first or drop it first? Sorry about all the questions guys, I'm a newb to all this in the stang division. Thanks guys, Justin.
I'd do the Saleen suspension if it was me, it's only $350 more to buy the kit than the Eibach pro springs ($650) but improves your handling g's 600% compared to the Eibach, and the main reason I'd want to do that instead is because the eibach kits aren't very comfortable and you're getting a huge amount of value for your money in comparison.
The only other kit I'd consider besides that is the Vogtland one for anything below $1000 but value wise I'd rather improve my handling to Porsche levels and drop it than just drop it. Vogtland is the way to go for the Mustang to just drop it.

I had the Eibach Pro springs and Tokico D-Specs on my car last season (have since retired the car from the track and returned it to stock) and was quite pleased with the package. It was a much firmer ride than stock and IMO not all that comfortable for daily driving (but people's opinon varies widely on this, usually depending on their age). Handling was great, I did 13 track days and tons of AX runs like this (thats mainly a function of the tires and dampers and not the springs however). The look is very good, its an aggressive drop. If you go with them, for sure get the 18 inch wheels (good tire sizes) - the 20" would be a very bad ride I'd think and 17s are just to small.
Note: if you do a little reasearch you will find that it is HIGHLY recommended to put in springs and upgraded dampers at the same time. Springs only has led to a lot of frustration in the past for folks - horrible ride (although there are those who will argue otherwise).
Springs or tires first? are you going to do both eventually? IF so...does it really matter. Are you interested in any competition or performance driving, or is this only a street thing. Personally - for street only I'd get the new rims - DD look very good on these cars. If I was doing AX - I'd get dampers and rubber (not springs due to classing). If I was doing track work - I'd get brakes, seat time, rubber, dampers, springs (in that order).

The car won't see any AX or road racing. Maybe the strip once in a while, but mostly just a DD. So I'm not worried about any of that. Thanks for the help guys i think I learned something today.
