Question LCA Help

Ok well im looking into getting some adjustable LCA some time this week. Im just wondering on what else i would need besides the control arm itself ??

Also:

What LCA are you guys using ??
Where can i get them ??
How much it would cost ?? (i no it would depend on the brand)

I am only interested in 1/4 racing that is why i want the adjustable LCA and want to set them at the lowest point. By doing this, would i be putting anything in danger ??

Sorry that I dont know to much about this, but any information would be greatly appreciated. Thx

Andy

Adjustable LCA's do not change the mounting height, only the length. If you want to drop the rear mounting point for more bite, you want relocation brackets like these:
http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...=99&ModelID=5f the arm for increased bite you need LCA relocation brackets like these

As for arms, all kinds of different arms, for example: http://www.stranoparts.com/searchbym...D=99&ModelID=5

Don't be afraid to experiment with different holes. Consider swapping between "street" and a "race" sets of holes at the track.

Sometimes "more's good, and too much is . . . too much". Be a little cautious until you adapt to the changes in the handling, which also depends on the LCA inclination.

LCAs = BMR, don't need adjustable (134.00)
UCA = BMR, this is where you need adjustment (175.00)
LCA relocation brackets = BMR (134.00)
UCA mount = BMR, factory mount blows and is weak..... (125.00)

Install about $300, have them weld-in brackets and UCA mount

Adjust the UCA only for pinion angle, have fun.......
