GT500 "bars" are matched for a car that is a lot more nose-heavy and uses a staggered tire setup. The front bar up to '09 is a stock GT front, with a much bigger rear to try and counter understeer. For 2010 they softened the front bar a bit more (or so they say).

A GT500 rear bar with a stock front bar on a GT 34mm is a bit too rear biased for a car without a blower, iron block and fatter rear tires. God forbid he only have the V-6 front bar... Then it's more drag car than cornering car and would very prone to oversteer.

It came with both front and rear bars for $62. I'm not too worried about it. If I don't like the feel of them I could always sell them. I may be getting some new wheels soon. 20x8.5 front, 20x10 rear.

If I buy a kit that says it comes with "all links, brackets and bushings", will I need anything else besides nuts and bolts? Are all the holes already in the frame?

Haven't installed mine yet, but I do know all the holes are there. To answer your question, yes, all you need is nuts and bolts.
