I've read about sn95/fox platform guys running their springs without the rubber isolators... is it possible to do this on a s197 also? Reason for doing this would be so i can get more drop out of my springs. I'm sure this will increase noise and harshness, just want to know if it is a safe option, or if the rubber perches are absolutely necessary.
