The RP-F1 should get here on Tuesday but I won't be putting them on until the end of next month when spring starts to get closer. Kinda pointless right now, it would sit in the garage and I couldn't even drive it.

I talked to goodwin racing and they eased my concerns about the hub centric ring issue. If I put the wheels on myself and finger tighten then torque with a wrench I'm OK. I guess the rings are more for people that are going to be using air wrenches.

Only other minor concern is whether my acorn black lugs that I bought off americanmuscle will have the right taper for these wheels. I won't know for certain until I put the wheels on. Philo told me I can kinda tell just from letting one of the lugs sit into the wells before the wheel goes on and I'll try that when they get here. Also, I hope my socket fits the lug well or I'm gonna be pissed.

Yeah, I tend to agree. My street wheels are a kind of gun metal color. I think they'll look great, but I'll have them on the car in the next week and get a direct look.

No worries about the hi-jacking, since the RPF-1's also come in the two offsets. So I'm sure others benefit from knowing the options.

Riptide, we'll have to wait and see about the taper, but I don't think you have to worry about the socket clearing. The wheel hub area is pretty shallow (esp. compared to others I've seen, i.e. 5Zigens). Here's a shot of the +45mm wheels I had...

Wow I can't wait. To be honest I'm in love with how the black deep dish bullitts look on the car now. The chrome lips are a very nice contrast.

It'll beinteresting to see how a full black RP-F1 looks on my (black) car.

Have you guys seen how much Enkei wants for centercaps? $25 each. :/
Screw that.

Oh I'll be posting. As mentioned it'll be a while before I get the tires on though.

My lug nuts and my centercaps are a darker glossier shade of black than the wheels. I'll be curious to see how it comes together. I'm hoping it looks alright.

As you can see the RP-F1 are a lighter shade of black. More of a dark gray.

Hey Riptide,

The pics are a bit misleading if you think they are dark gray. In person they're a definite satin black. Your gloss on your lugs and centercaps will be the real contrast.

Cool I found another photo here. Kinda helped put my concerns to rest a little bit.

I won't know until it's on the car but a little bit of gloss on the GT centercaps and lugs may not be a bad thing at all.

My birthday is Feb 27th and I'm going to get the tires mounted then. I'll resurrect this thread if it's dead then.

Philo - I appreciate the PMs and the info over the last couple days.
