Default PANHARD BAR

What is this Panhard Bar I see for under the rear ?? Will it dramaticly improve my GT's corners as I race to work and back, or must I realy be on a roadcourse track, to feel the benefits? When I put the front strut tower brace on, I really felt a big difference. My GT is lowered with the Roush springs. Thanks for your feedback

Panhard bar minimizes the side to side movement of the axle. I can't say how much it helps when you race to work though. However, if your car is lowered you may want to look into an adjustable panhard bar. Depending on how much it's lowered, your axle will favor the passenger side of the car now. Look at your car from the back, does it appear that the axle is further over to the passenger side? If so, time for an adjustable one.

The only benefit may come from better bushings unless you lower the car then an adjustable bar is very handy for centering the axle.

I have heard from several Mustang owners that a lower A-arm brace is a good way to stiffen up the chassis even more than a strut tower brace.
