Default Lower the front end?

So: plan is to pick up a '11 GT later this year. Will be my first Mustang in a long time, and the first one I really make mods to.

I don't really care much for the "slammed" look, and as such will probably keep the rear at the stock height. Thinking about lowering the front end by 1". Mainly want to do this to arrive at what I think is my preferred stance.

What's the best way (and I know "best" can be subjective) to make this happen? Install shorter springs? Relocate control arms? Both? And is it even advisable. I ask that one since I've been out of the game for some time, so I'm bringing some old-school attitudes into this.

Also will want to install a chin spoiler, so don't want that to rub.

I'm in the same boat...kinda sorta. I prefer the ol' school look as well and would like to 'rake' the *** end up a bit without dropping the front for the sake of the chin spoiler. I plan to buy taller rear wheels/tires to give it that look. They even sell 275/60r17s for the stock rims.

EDIT: Forgot you were talking about the 11' model, so the tires probably wont fit. But I hope you get the idea

Most springs are sold as sets of front and rear. One exception are the Roush ones. Here is a link that discusses the various springs

It is my understanding that the H&R lowering springs keep the rake (higher rear). Sam could probably elaborate.

I'm just bumping this back up, in the hopes that Mr. Strano can offer up an opinion.
