One way to find out if the wheels clear is to see if they say they fit a GT500. That is how I knew my Steeda Ultar Lites would fit.

I'm now in the same position again as I'm looking at these for my new set of track only wheels in size 18 x 9.5 x 45 mm offset

That would seem to be the obvious answer but that doesn't always work out. I called a local wheel shop and they said they had a number of wheels which would "definately fit the GT500". Thank God they were local because not one wheel in that place cleared the brakes, If I'd travelled any major distance I would have left carrying somebody's ***** in my hand.

I love the look of the 2010 GT500 wheels, I might see if I can't sniff a set out sometime.

They will be available from FRPP at a reasonable price eventually...
And Prolly in other sizes than 19'.
Maybe this year at SEMA, Ford will launch them as a new product line.

Although I can see a set of CS 40 on your car.

Mostly, European made wheels will clear Brembos because most sport cars come fitted with big brakes anyways.
BBS is a good place to look in...

If I get the Brembo brakes.....I'll have to give up my signature pink calipers.....unless I paint the Brembos.......

You have no idea.

Is the 2011 optional Brembo/19" wheel package the same brakes as the GT500 kit? Trying to narrow-down new-car option decisions.

I also wonder if the stock, 18" wheels would clear the '11 Brembo brakes. I really would like the upgraded brakes, but with the crappy roads around here, I was thinking about getting some new GT 18" wheel/tire take-off's for day to day driving and save the 19" summer tires for twisty road trips.

Plus the 18" tires are a whole lot cheaper than the summer 19"'s, and the takes-off's are cheaper than buying wheels/tires seperatly.

Thanks

Getting wheels to clear the GT500 Brembo kits is a challenge. If the wheel is not guaranteed to fit a GT500 then be wary.

I suppose it is worth keeping the stock brakes in case my new wheels don't clear the 500brakes...
