Default Question on the Tubular Radiator Support

I use my stang for daily driving and @ the 1/4 mile. Should i use the BMR Tubular Radiator Support or the Steeda Light Weight Radiator support?

Id say the Steeda one because you are able to keep the front sway bar and the BMR is a sway bar delete.

You want to keep the swaybar in there if its a daily driver. Ours is the one that allows you to do that and will withstand the loads of road racing too if you decide to go to open track events.

Correct, which is about an 8lb savings.

When it comes to weight reduction, its always incremental. 8lbs here, 5lbs there, you are not going to shed a significant amount of weight from the vehicle in 1 shot. Its going to take a concentrated effort in many areas.

We give you the weight reduction without sacrificing the handling performance of the vehicle. Or for those who strictly drag race they can leave the swaybar off and save even more weight.

It's about the weight savings... Does it help, well sure knocking a few pounds off is never bad. But I find it funny how that mentality seems to ebb and flow with various parts. I do hollow swaybars front and rear for that reason, but others don't even while selling other lightweight parts..... That's a head scratcher to me.

Anyway... I've never had a problem with a Steeda Rad support/bar mount. Every customer I've got who installed one found the fit to be great, and it's the only one that allows you to retain your front swaybar which is HUGELY important if you actually, you know, *drive* the car.

It's the best one out there, and for $179.00 it's a pretty nice deal.

I have the Steeda support and it's a great piece. The weight reduction is only part of the benefits. For me it was all the extra clearance over the stock piece that made the decision easy and retaining the front sway bar is essential for a DD.
