Default Lowering the car

Many have suggested before doing the supercharger to upgrade the suspension first. I was going to do the ford racing P spring with sway bars and dampers. On Roush's website they have a suspension kit specifically for supercharged cars because of the added weight on front. When I add one the supercharger will this make my car look weird if I use the FRPP P springs?

I wouldn't think so. The superchargers aren't that heavy.

Default Wouldn't worry

I initially put GT500 struts and springs into my '05 GT w/ KB supercharger. The blower adds perhaps 100lb, which is mostly due to the new manifold which contains the intercooler.

The car rode way high, as the GT500 engine is very heavy (iron block) and the car weighs ~400lb more than the GT overall.

I replaced the springs with K&R sports, which dropped the car to a very cool height.

Ride is just OK - the GT500 strut damping is not matched well.

I'd strongly encourage you to either go with a matched spring/strut setup, or get coilovers. I wouldn't worry about the modest additional weight of a supercharger.

Mike.
