If I am going bump onto that piece, that doesnt make sense, because even then with a rubber piece, yes it will be less noise, but what is the point of having shocks or springs then if I am riding on a little rubber piece anyway?

The springs didn't even need to be compressed to get the mounts on them either... I did think that was strange, but overlooked it in the long run... If I use these different mounts, then will it require the spring to be compressed?

wow.. that is very different.... You will really have to check with someone like Sam to see for sure if thats the right one. I have no actual experience with it, just trying to figure out what he was saying.

So one final question haha... Will I be able to drive if I use the factory struts and the new lowering springs? Or do I need to put everything back to stock and then wait until I buy some 2010 stock mounts...

So I just finished doing a couple things... 1 I called Eibach, and was told that the system for the 2011 isnt done yet. The Springs were just put into production today, and the rest of it wont be out for another couple of weeks...

So I then called LRS and spoke with the Brian the sales manager, who made me feel much better. They are paying to ship the kit back and give me a full refund. I will most definitely be buying more from them with this kind of service. So they did screw up, but they are making up for it..

i myself have a 2011 gt and i have 05-10 frrp 1.5 in drop. but unlike you i have ordered the gt500 upper strut mounts. i have yet to install it.

My friend has a 2011 as well and he has the eibach springs on his car as well and has no issues with his drop. he just installed the springs like you and his rides fine.

So he just but the springs on... I guess I could have done that.. but yeah I am just going to wait until the actual kit comes out.. I want a perfect fit that is made for that car... That is what the Eibach Tech guy advised me.

yeah, they changed the strut mount, change it back and your set man.

Also, Eibach told you to wait for them to release the kit, did you ask them if they would be willing to sell you a preproduction set and you would test on your car and review?

Yeah they did change it.. And I want a system that is truly designed for my exact car, so I am sending this one back and getting my money back and waiting for the correct system..

The Eibach guy said everything willb e different from the 05-10 setup. Lighter, better, bigger...

So thank you for all the help guys! I will keep updating my build thread with the new kit when I get it..
