Exclamation Clunking Problem with Eibach Pro Plus on 2011 GT

So I just installed the front portion of the Eibach Pro Plus Suspension System...

And now every single time I hit the smallest bump it goes CLUNK really loud...

Please help me figure out what is wrong, and what I need to do to fix it..

I noticed that the part of the strut that sticks into the engine compartment is way above the 4 bolts holding it there, I mean by 3 or 4 inches... Is this right? Why would this be?

Did you forget the spring isolator under the strut mount? It is a black piece of rubber that will isolate your spring from the strut mount. It is about 2 inches thick. Also check your stabilizer bar where it mounts to the strut.

He bought a kit that doesn't directly fit, and nobody told him that was the case. 2011's use different strut mounts than the older cars.... He can make some spacers up and make ti work, or he can buy 2010 or older stock mounts.

Yet another example of why you want to buy stuff from someone who really knows the cars intimately. In fact the difference was one of the first things I found on my 2011 vs. my 2007 and I now incorporate the fix in every conversation with every 2011 customer of mine.

Yeah I got it from Latemodel Restoration Supply... I was told it had everything I needed. I will be calling them shortly.. So what is it that I need? Sturt Isolators? Or 2010 Strut mounts?

So please tell me what I need to get this working... If I can make something that will work I will do that, but if not, then I will buy whatever I need to buy...

I assume hes talking about the plastic mounts and spacers that make the top section of a 05-10 strut. There like 2 plastic peices with a ton of ball bearings between and the mounting plate

Its item 5. From what Sam was saying, it sounds like the 11+ uses less space and longer spring. putting in a shorter spring, with no spacer makes a big difference.

Would this work?

http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...P-Strut-Mounts

It is the 2005-10 Mustang Ford Racing Gt500 Style Strut Mount Pair... I am betting I can get it for free from LRS because of their goof up..

The mounts that it came with have the little ball bearing things, but no rubber anywhere... and my car I am assuming is going wham with every bump into that piece...
