Default suspension mods for winter?

Are there any suspension parts I can bolt on to increase winter time performance in both deep snow and icy roads? I have a killer set of snow tires and they work great, curious of any suspension mods that will help as well

You want soft springs, shocks and sway bars for winter, wet and poor traction conditions. The soft suspension allows more weight on all four wheels, less weight transfer.

I totally agree. The best suspension mod for a Mustang for winter is to buy another car, even a 4 cylinder FWD beater.

I took my car out of the garage last winter, managed to drive off about 30 feet on wet snow. It took me 45 minutes to get it back in.

I'd rather drive my mustang or at least an older beat up truck F150..

I really don't like smaller cars. I may get a beater down the line though..

No I don't imagine anybody sells anything softer than stock. If you haven't changed from stock then maybe a softer front sway bar maybe one from 6 cylinder car. Other wise I like the suggestion of the second car mine is an Edge.

5 bags of sand in the trunk helps.

They also provide some grit to get off ice if needed and the sand is not frozen solid.

I am assuming that a Roush Stage 3 suspension set up is not the ideal set up for winter time? I really want to upgrade my car in the handling department, but also want it to handle better in the snow at the same time. I understand it's RWD, so it's not the most ideal in the first place.. but I have to make do with what I got
