Question about lower control arms???
Hey fellas got quick question. I was wondering when i get my lower control arms ready to install if relocation brackets are neccessary. Im looking to avoid wheel hop at the track. I only go maybe 4 to 5 times a year and curious if i should install the brackets. Will the LCA's work fine without the brackets. thanks
LCAs and relo brackets can certainly be done individually. Doing either one of those mods does not require doing the other.
Does it currently wheel-hop? If it doesn't, there isn't anything for the LCAs to help (but swapping them at least won't hurt).
If it does hop, or if you're pretty sure that it will (based on maybe getting any hop when starting from a dead stop on a wet road), I would install just the LCAs and see what happens. If it (still) hops, I think I'd do the UCA next. If it just gets too-easy wheelspin without getting into wheel hop, then I'd do the relo brackets next. You might end up doing LCAs, UCA, relo brackets in that order.
