I've got Steeda Sport springs for my six, and the ride's pretty harsh. But I rarely bottom out. The biggest nuisances for me are those godforsaken parking blocks.
I bought the car used as well, and I still haven't gotten a chance to check and see if the shocks/struts have been replaced.

It appears the OPs car is lowered about 2 inches. From my experience the most common kit at that ride height is the Eibach Sportline kit. That kit rides fairly harsh by itself, but coupled with 20s and bad tires would make it just plain annoying. Something that may also cause a bad ride is that you have the wrong lowering kit on it. Coupes and Verts are different weights and the lowering kits are specifically designed for one or the other. I am personally a fan of the Eibach Pro kit, its somewhere around 1.5" and stays fairly comfortable. Hopefully the previous owner didn't cut the stock springs, that is about the worst way to lower a car. Its also dangerous.
As far as helping the ride, I'd go with some Nitto Invos or Hankook V12 Evos. The Invos are by far the best riding tire I've ever used. The 295-35-20 also gives a slightly taller than stock height tire and helps absorb the the bumps vs the stock height tire on a 20" wheel. I wouldn't use that size on your car as it sits, though. They would almost certainly rub. If you have any questions just shoot me a PM or give me a call and I'll try to help out as much as possible.

If it's the sportlines I feel sorry for you lol. That ride must be terrible then haha. I got H&R Super Sports (lowers about 1.7 inches,) coupled with Tokico D-Specs, the ride is stiff but not uncomfortable at all, even with the firm settings on my shocks haha.

Yeah, but I got the non adjustable ones :/ Which didn't bother me because there the same shocks, just automatically set to soft. Which is what I wanted. To many options gets confusing. lol
