Suspension advice... again..
Hey everybody i have a 2010 gt convert and finally scraped enough money to pull the trigger on lowering the pony. I was originally going with Steeda sports, and their shocks/struts, lower control arms, and UCA's. I have a couple of questions now though..
-First off, Do i need an adj PH bar? I would think so... but...not sure?
-Also, looking to go with either 19" or 20 rims soon.. so im only looking for a 1.25" rear/ 1" front drop. Should i stick with steeda? There are so many brands out there and ive been reading alot about Koni yellows, opinions?
-What EXACTLY would i need to lower the stang, without sacrificing TOO much ride quality (a little is expected obviously). I have around $1,000 to spend give or take a hundred or two depending on what i need. This is not going to be a tracked car by the way.
Also, would i need LCA's and UCA's? Any input is great along with your set-ups and pictures as well. List all suspension mods.. Just because if im pulling the trigger on a 1k+ i want to make a good investment. Thanks!

I lowered my '05 with Steeda Sport springs and Koni Str.t shocks(orange) It was exactly 1" front & back. I did not need a panhard bar.
If your drop is more than 1", I think the conventional wisdom is that the pan/bar is a good idea.
I tracked the car and it was better handeling and a little stiffer on the streets. I eventually put on adjustable LCA's and that's when it got much harsher.

-UPR adj Panhard Bar
-UPR Upper CA and LCA package
-Steeda sports
-Steeda shocks/struts
Would this be an ideal setup? correct me if im missing something or if you have any input

With those, we recommend (but is not required) our adjustable panhard bar and heavy-duty upper strut mounts. The upper strut mounts for adjusting camber after lowering.
I would actually recommend our Ultralite springs for you. The Ultralites are better suited for a daily driver and will provide an approximate drop of 1.25" (F) and 1.5" (R).

And as far as ultralites vs sports, i wanted to go with sports because it is not as big of a drop. opinion on that?
If you would like you could throw together a suspension pack for me, its weird because someone else from steeda helped me and said i wouldnt really need the upper strut mounts.

My opinion is go with the Ultralites, the drop is almost the same (the "drop" just depends on what you have from stock, it is a general guide and not end-all be-all as your factory ride height varies from car to car).
