Default Upper/Lower Control Arms

I know nothing about suspension. Did the 2007 GT500 come with rear FRPP Lower Control arms?

Also, what type of rear upper control arm did it come with?

I'm getting some gears installed and figured I'd redo the control arms. If I install a rear upper control arm, should it be adjustable? I'm thinking about one of these 2:

Thank you!

Yes, the GT 500 should have it stock. Just look through the tires... if it's the grey one that's the FRPP one.

I've read it's worth upgrading the LCA still to spherical end with poly bushings.

UCA - I do not know. From previous post of mine, unless you're drag racing a adjustable upper is not necessary.

Any suggestions on which brand to upgrade to?

Lower Control Arms
Upper Control Arm

I assume I don't need relocation brackets since I'm not lowered?
Also, do I need a special bracket for the UCA? I thought I saw a post regarding that somewhere...

As always, thanks!

If you're the least bit interested in hard cornering, you'll be better off with LCAs that feature a Johnny Joint/Roto-Joint/Del-Sphere in one end.

I'm looking at the Curretrac adjustable LCAs, available at www.scandc.com of all places.

You won't need them or even want them if your driving includes much more than just drag strip duty.

Unlowered + using relo brackets = tailhappy

I strongly suggest UPR's Pro Street rear control arms with the HD UCA mount.

I'm running this setup on my '06 GT and it dead hooks on the F1 Supercars. Then again, it's not a GT500.

However, we're running this same setup on our 2010 GT and the car runs 9.90 @ 133 with a 1.35 60-foot time.

Anyway, UPR Products are Made in America, they carry a Lifetime Guarantee, and we offer mf.com members a 10% discount.
