Default Strut & Spring Pre-Assembly

Hello,
I'm looking to pre-assemble these components off the car in advance of installation since I'm replacing everything. After buying the spring compressor it just occurred to me that I'll need the top nut to tighten down the new GT500 mount I purchased, correct? Anyone know the part #? I'm hoping I can pick one up from the Ford Stealership this weekend.

When I bought my Steeda HD camber strut plates, it came with new strut nut, since I needed the rubber isolator from the stock strut mount I couldn't have it pre-assembled. I'm surprised the new GT500 strut mounts don't come with the required strut nut.

I bought the isolator and everything needed. I didn't open the box for the strut mounts, I just assumed it wasn't in there because it didn't list it as in the box on AM.

If the nuts are not included or you need replacements down the road, the OEM nut size is M14 x 2.0. Any decent industrial hardware store should have nylock nuts in this size.

I used a battery powered impact gun to compress those springs. Makes it go real fast. Doing that with just a ratchet takes forever. I really cant remember if my GT500 strut mounts came with new nuts. I want to say no.

Yeah, I plan to use an air impact ratchet. I read in another post that said they got the nut from the strut kit. I'll have to see if my Koni yellows came with one.

I have used a battery impact for years but 6 months ago I finally got an air impact and compressor. Man do I love that tool. Every gearhead should have one. Good luck with the install.

I love mine too, I just wish my compressor wasn't so damned loud lol. I'm hoping to get it on at the end of the month. I have a co-worker coming by to help me get my rear on and I'm hoping to get my suspension stuff done too. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is adjusting and installing the new UCA.
