Default Bumpsteer?

I’m hoping for a little guidance from the suspension experts. Lowered my car approximately 1.5 inches in the front, so I checked to see how much it would affect my bumpsteer. The angle on the control arm slopes 2.6 degrees down to pivot point on the frame. The steering arm slopes 1.4 degrees down to the rack. I checked the information on the bumpsteer kit and they suggest a starting point would be the control arm and steering arm should be parallel. I reviewed the kits and it seems they add spacers to hub pivot point which would only make the angle decrease the angle of the steering arm.
Is there something I missing here or is adding a bumpsteer kit a waste of time?
