Default Super Charger question

I have a 2007 Shelby GT and I was looking at putting a super charger on it. Paxton makes one around $1.8k and Ford Racing around $6.4K. Anyone have any experience in runningeither of these on a 4.6L?

$1.8k for a Paxton? No, more like $5.3k for a Paxton.

I paid around 4,000 for my paxton 2200. There are issues if you are putting it on a Shelby GT. You have to modify the intercooler tubing path, no biggie really. Shelby also makes a paxton kit that will bolt right up for 5,000 but its air/water intercooled vs. air/air and less HP.

Unless your course racing or drag racing, I'd go with the whipple or a Saleen for the street. Erik
