Money is a factor, but not a big factor. Which one do you get and why? Cant get a KR for less than 120k. Super snake can be had for less than 80k and has more HP.

With the KR, it is a famous model compared to the SS. However, I'd get the SS, simply because it would wipe the floor with a KR. Although, the SS is famous, not as famous as the KR. Tough choice though.

Hmmm i remember just bringing this up. The decision is really 725hp for 69k or 540 forfor 120k+.. I know some people are going to chime in and talk about heritage and limited availebility and presteige.. but we don't like those people anyway.

So decide: 725hp for 69k or 540hp for 120k, both cars look alike?

To my understanding - the SS is the KR but upgraded. Meaning you purchase the KR and then upgrade it to the SS kit.

Can someone verify?

I suppose you could do that, but I think most would want to keep the KR all original to maintain the... well, the originality of it since only 1000 are made. You can buy a regular GT500 and send it to shelby for the SS upgrade.

I wish! No, one of my more fortunate friends is. He is ready to buy now, and asked me which way he should go. Since money is not an factor for him, I say get the KR. He is in a postion where he will only drive it for a few months, then wants to store it for 20 years. So, i think the KR will be more valuable down the road due to its limited production numbers.
