Default FR3 handling pack on GT500?

ok, to some this may be a no brainer, but its had me stumped all day. today i parked next to a gt500, and i could have sworn my SGT sat lower than his GT500. I could be wrong, but I would bet money on it. Dosent the GT500 come with the same FR3 handling pack as the SGT? If not, it would only make sense...

No, unfortunately it does not. I will be doing this sometime next year...hopefully around the same time I go with 20" alcoas.

It definitly does not come with the handeling pack, the shelby GT is a shelby car, while the GT500 is a ford/shelby colaboration that is named shelby.

The Shelby GT has better suspension and handling...Ford didn't bother putting as much effort into the handling of the GT500... which is why that's a much needed mod together with a new exhaust set up for the GT500

I personally do not think it is a much needed mod. In fact I can honestly say I dont think there is any needed mod. between my 05 gt that I had lightly modded the suspension and my gt500, I still believe the gt500 is far superior in handling etc. I personally love the way my gt500 handles...just my opinion....but heck you can always mod your cars and make them better...nothing wrong with that... I still will be conservative with this car (Modding wise) as compared to my former gt....

It will definitly fit. Ford is lazy so the GT500 didn't get any handeling upgrades because it was planned on them, but it also uses the same platform as the GT because they were equally lazy, as such everything is a direct bolt on. I've seen GT500's with rims and the handeling pack and they look great.

as each day passes, i get more excited for the bank to say yes to that GT500. probably will miss the 04 lightning and the 07SGT, but hey, its a GT500! first thing is that FR3 pack and that pro5.0 shifter

legion 5....absolutely no disrespect intended with what I am about to say...so please do not take it as such...BUT....do you own a gt500? if so ..did you own a s197 gt prior to it.
how can you say a statement as that..[sm=dontgetit.gif]..THE GT500 definitely has handling upgrades over the stock gt. without going into a part by part breakdown as well as an explanation of sport tuned suspension over standard tuned suspension.. I can comfortably say the GT500 in deed has an upgraded suspension and handling package over the gt. is it the BEST...absolutely not...is there room for improvement...absolutely.......

my friend has a GT500 and I've driven and been a passenger in a Shelby GT and I think the SHelby GT stock for stock handled better...the GT500 was much more exciting tho...and all you need to do is to change the suspension and there's no doubt the GT500 is superior
