can't help but wonder why trade in 2 collector Ford vehicles!
Clean them up and sell them private party. The Shelby, with just 5K should get much more! Has it been abused or something?
Even with a best offer the dealer is still going to give you $2,000 less than private party.

 

It's just as fast, looks better, but dosn't have the presteige. That's stock for stock. The gt500 actually can be brougt to 600+ hp with just a tune and intake so that's the main allure.

 

Nope, not abused at all. i could never do that. event he 04 lightning has not onescratch. the shelby has been even babied more than that. one surface scratch on the strip near the trunk, (somebody wanted to set their helmet there while getting ready to ride bikes) thats it. there justification was well your vin shows a 07 mustang GT. and a 07 GT books for 18,000 trade in. they have other shelbys there, which there asking way more than i payed, there asking like 38-43 for the barret jackson shelby GTs. so i know they know the value of a shelby, they just wanna play games. thats ok, im done because i was looking out the windows and staring at the vechicles, i just couldnt let them go now that im not staring at that 500. thanks ppl

 

they're amazing cars still.... a GT500 is sweet, but a Shelby GT is not a bad choice either

wise choice...keep your shelby gt and lightning....the pic you have in your signature shows me that you ahve 2 freaking awesome looking vehicles already...good luck and wise move
