Have any of you who own a GT00 driven a Z06, if so which one performed the best?.. I've heard that the GT500 is quite the beast..

GT500 is more like the C6. A stock Z06 will eat a stock GT500 for breakfast. The C6 is barely beat by a GT500 in straight line. Twisties, forget it. C6 walks away.

Comparing the two you can see why...GT500 weights more than the C6 and has a 54-46 weight ratio vs the nearly 50/50 c6.

i thought that the Z06 would be better..but does the Shelby feel like it has more pull than the Z06? my neighbor has a Shelby and a Viper and hes saying that the Shelby feels as it sets you back in your seat and the Viper just feels like your Gliding.. and i know that the Viper can beat a stock Z06

I certainly wouldn't put money on the Viper... the new Z06 is an incredible car performance wise!!

The main thing i like besides the performance of the Z06 is some of the color choices..like the new Blue and gray shown on the ZR1..if the mustang could get some colors like that i would buy them..

There are 4 new colors added for 2010 stang. Also, has a black box and module which detect if an air bag deploys, car will turn on horn, flashers and unlock the doors.

Z06 is 0-60 in 3.5 seconds I read and the GT500 IS 4.3 I think?

that sounds right.. but does the GT500 put you back in your seat when you put the hammer down??
