Question Trap Speeds

Hey everyone, im looking for a little reassurance here. I'm hoping I am not missing something, but heres my situation. An "acquaintance" of mine told me the other day that his friend has a newer Shelby GT500, as his daily driver. Mind you, his family has money, but this is a kid, like maybe 20 or so. As if that wasnt hard enough to swallow, he proceeds to tell me that they had it out for a joy ride and that they had it to 130 in less than a quarter mile. SO, logic tells me, that means MORE than 130 in a full 1/4 mile. SO, that would mean this thing is running like 10's easy right? He swears its stock still, im calling B.S. Am i missing anything?

Shouldn't a 440ish rwhp car go faster than 12.6-12.9 in the 1/4?

Total BS on a stock GT500 but very realistic on a modded one with over 600+ hp

A stock gt500 usually traps in the 114-117 range and is capable of low 12's with good driving....high 11's with good driving and DR's
