Default 2009 Shelby GT500KR or 2010 Shelby GT500

I am looking at buying my frist ford Mustang.

I can not find much help on which one to buy.

so here what I am looking at

2009 Shelby GT500KR or the 2010 Shelby GT500 with the Super Snake package warranted 600 HP V8.

the work would be done by Shelby Automobiles, Inc out of Las Vegas

so my ? is what is really the difference between the two?

why would you pick one over the other?

Go with whichever ones cheaper. You can still keep the warranty even if you mod it, just have to find a dealer that isn't picky. You can be right at the 600 hp mark for a few hundred bucks on the new 2010 GT500.

Price does not matter.

You could do all the same mods Shelby does (to the new 2010 GT500) and do it for cheaper... but if Shelby does it you know it's going to be done right for sure.

Personally I would go w the 2010 but cost is an issue for me. I'd still go w the new 2010 though since it's the new body style.

2010 for the new-better body style, simple as that, Ford polished this car up, much better then the '09!

I did a little reading and from what I am thinking I should do the 2010 GT500 with Super Snake package and add the track pack.

Is there any thing else that can be add?

I would like to keep the warranty so please keep that in mind.

98 cavalier is for work and with it being easy to fix and nice on gas why not keep it for work.

I also have been saving for nicer car and the 2010 gt 500 super snake
is look like the winner.

since GM and Chrysler are both in bankruptcy.

gt500 will not be dd

i wouldn't even consider a gt500 KR unless you're looking for a garage queen. you'll have $30-40K going with the 2010 gt500. the money saved should easily get you that SS package from Shelby.
