Default Dream Car = GT500

Anyone want to help me realize my dream?

I have owned some pretty awesome vehicles over the years

2000 Dakota R/T (modded up)
2006 Cooper S Vert
1999 Vette Vert
2004 GTO (moddded to hell)
2006 TrailBlazer SS
2007 Mustang CS GT Premium Vert
Current 2008 GT Premium

But my dream car is a last gen GT500 and no matter how I slice my current situation I just cannot get one! The thing that kills me the most is how I see a lot of them treated. Now I am **** to a sense with my cars because they are my DD and my "car" but the last 3 GT500s I have seen clearly have not seen a bath in weeks and seem in no way taken care of (from the appearance, inside and out)... I guess it just makes it more personal to me that I cannot get one and these people do not appreciate what they have.

Ok goofy rant over.

EDIT: no I am not a young kid - I am an old man

I definitely drive my GT500 like it should be driven IMO. They're not garage queens to me. You spend money on a car to driiiiiiiiiive it. Why buy a Shelby if you're going to drive like Grandma? No point to me. I do keep it very clean though. I'm very **** about that. It says spotless most of the time. I've been noticing the front brakes cause a lot more brake dust than the GT I had. Damn Brembo's

Keep looking and you'll find a nice one. You cant take it with you, as they say, so while you are here, enjoy it. They are out there. I also see you are a fan of the famous techno viking .

You might want to check with a brake supplier for a dustless brake pads.
I got Hawk pads from Stillen and that was the end of the dust problem.

It would be my DD no doubt! And I would put about 12K mileson it a year. But to treat it like a Geo Metro is insane (to me). And this is what it seems like the last few I have seen are treated.

dont feel bad, i want one in the worst way too, but i am just too upsidedown, underwater, whatever you call it and no bank will grant what i need yet. i am still debating on trying to JJbanc or wait and see if 2011 5 liter is a reality, (plus give me time to pay down on mine) let me know how your progress goes
