Well I picked up a salvaged title SGT, but some yoyo removed the dash plaque. How/who would I contact to get a replacement one.
My number is 07SGT1428.

 

not sure, but try calling 1.800.FORD (3673).788. this is the number I called to receive my GT500 certificate, maybe they'll be able to help you

 

Call Shelby directly... if you give them your VIN and your number... they should be able to help you out.

 

Look on ebay for your old one.

 

so did u get a good deal on it being a salvage? just interested in those kind of buys

I think I got a pretty good deal on a salvage its 07SGT1428, 14,000 miles, paid 7,000.00damage to the front. I have been rounding up parts for the rebuild. Not having to much luck finding a front clip, but finding parts one at a time.

Well this is an interesting development. I call the Shelby "Mod Shop" as directed. I was able to talk with someone about the dash plaque, and told him the story behind requisitioning a replacement. The car was a salvaged vehicle, all badges and plaques were removed but the one on the rad. support. He told me that due to being a salvaged car, they do not re-issue them. He then requested a police report. I’m sure that report is going to be almost impossible to get. But he did say call back next week and speak to the supervisor.
Not sure what the deal is? Do they not record the VIN number when converting the cars, and adding the Shelby Number???, I can supply the vin., engine, rear end, heck I can give them any number associated with that car. He said a lot of people are cloning them. Heck I'm trying to bring one back to life, and not let the metal eaters have it. Oh well, this ant over yet............

 

How do you know if your shelby is supposed to have a dash plaque, I've seen tons of these without them. The one I just bought doesn't have one.

 

dash plaque is $300 upgrade i believe....doesnt come standard
