Default Needing GT500 owners info please?

I am STILL considering a jump over to a GT500 and may have found yet another to consider. As I am exploring all my options, I had this one come up and was wondering if anyone who has a GT500 can answer or might know.

In the process of all the work I've currently done to my '06 GT, last June I ordered some parts from Strano performance so I could lower my stock GT's ride height. I bought the Koni 'Yellow' shocks, Elbach Pro Springs and camber bolts as well as a panhard bar from BMR Fabrication (PHR006). I received everything that I ordered except for the front shocks. Unfortunately, they were back ordered at the time the order was placed and still are now 8 months later. Because of this backorder, I have never installed any of the stuff on the car as of yet. What I need to know is, if I do upgrade to a '08 GT500, how much, if anything, could be installed on it instead and what will likely need to be returned. Again, I ordered everything to go on a 2006 Mustang GT and need to know if any of it would now work on a 2008 GT500.

Any help would be appreciated. I do have a call in at Strano's, but no one answered when I called, but I do expect them to return the call today hopefully.

On the same note......what about sequentuals? Installed some in July and would definately be interested in pulling off of mine and installing on the new one if I go that way...Those are from 'WebElectric Products'. Web site doesnt say either way so I'm assuming so....but would love to get some sort of comfirmation from somebody who's done it.

Thanks very much

The sequentuals and the panhard bar will work. The rear shocks and springs would probabaly be the same but the front stuff would be diff. because of the added weight.

You should be able to use everything except for the springs. The GT500 weighs more than the Mustang GT and it has a different weight distribution. I suggest purchasing springs specifically developed for the 500. I installed the Ford Racing springs on my GT500 and really like them. I personally don't care much for camber bolts, instead the camber plates are a better alternative IMO.

pan-hard bar, camber bolts, and sequentuals can be used on the GT500, but you'll need different shocks and springs as Matt said

Are you implying there is a different Koni Yellow shock/strut for the GT500?
