Hello from NYC.

I have the chance to buy a 2009 GT500 vert with 1000 miles for 46,000...the car has a SC making 605 hp. What do you guys think of the price of the car? Is it in line? I'm an AMG guy but I love Mustangs.

Personally I would think that you should be able to get it lower than that. I mean, that is about the right price for it...but with the economic downturn and all. But I guess it being in the city things are a little more expensive. When I bought mine, it stickered for around $51K, with 1748 miles, and I paid $43,500 for it.

I got my 2008 Convertible GT500 for $42,500 and a fellow club member got his 2008 Convertible GT500 for $41,000.

Car Max has a 2007 GT500 vert with 2k miles advertised at $37,147.
