Scored an 08 GT500
Hey Guys, I am happy I get to come to this section also!! I scored an 08 GT 500 with 558 miles on it. The guy just had it in his garage and didnt drive it. It is Black on Black with charcoal stripping...Shaker 1000, tinted windows and cat back tuned Borla exhaust...paid 42k...perfect match to my 06 GT...already called Brenspeed to begin the"enhancement process"...
So I was hoping to find out any problems and concerns any of you are seeing with your cars...I have 18 months warrenty left and I am going to watch it close...
Thanks!!

first off, congrats! post some pictures.
depending on the car's build date, there's a clutch TSB out there for all GT500's built before 01-Sept-08....but most dealerships will not do anything until the clutch starts showing symtoms or it's completely gone..

Another low mileage Shelby purchase
We bought an 07 GT500, triple black convertible 3 months ago with 3200 miles on it. Over 5K now. Smile...
Appreciate the heads up on the clutch.
Ours is totally stock at the moment. Does anyone know what a typical 1/4 mile ET is on a stock 07? Not the magazine times as they vary so much depending if they test a car supplied from the factory (tweeked) or a car from normal stock.

Congrats and welcome to the club. Check out VMP Tuning; a lot of GT500 guys are using them and are always recommending them. I'll be buying some tunes and pulleys from them in the very near future.
