Default Ford Racing 62.5mm TB question .

I have a cance of a good deal on the TB and an IW crank pulley . Anyone try either or both . If so , any feedback would be great to help me decide .

I can tell you the TB will do almost nothing, the pulley depends on the specs

I already ahve a 2.6 pulley along with Metco idler and JLT CAI . Car makes over 526 rwhp and 539 rw torque . The IW pulley is supposed to give close to another 50 ft lb or torque plus a little extra ( 20 / 30 ) hp , i was wondering if the TB would help once HP and Tq get above the factory numbers .

the L&M TB is a way better product and will give you better results. Also people running the aluminum lower are having problems with belt slip...

I guess it depends on how cheap "a good deal is" on that TB, they dont do too much, and the FRPP one is crazy expensive. Now i picked up a used BBK for like $100 so I didnt mind only picking up 5-10 hp for that cheap.

Wouldn't the Metco idler pulley help that issue ?

Before you start spinning that heaton unit more that we have on our beasts I would upgrade your heat exchanger and other items to keep your car cooler..as most have said depending in the TB will vary your power output as well.. 5-25 rwhp depending on other mods..I just would upgrade your parts that will greatly assist with IAT
