My '03 came from Sarasota, and it had spent 7 years there. I didn't have any rust issues.

Im not saying they ALL have that issue, but the salt gets into the air or something(Not clear on specifics) and causes them to rust faster or something. Heard this conversation several times when there.
This one seems meticulously maintained so its mostly out of the question, but still... Something to keep an eye out for.

Been living in Fla 20 years... No rust issues.. Salt in the Air and the sun have caused severe paint oxidation of improperly stored and cared for cars, but no more of rust issues as other areas... In fact spending half my life in Connecticut and other half here have witnessed at least 1000 times MORE rust and corrosion issues up north compared to down here... So I dunno where misnomer comes from about Fla cars rusting more ... Because I haven't seen it or heard much about it..

thanks everyone! the original owner always kept the car in the garage, never seen rain. I'm not worried about any rust but thanks for looking out.

not bad? haha, yeah I was set on black with vapor as my second choice and I stumbled onto this car and the price was way too good to pass up. I got an amazing deal on this car and it already had the exact mods I wanted to do. It was an easy choice.

I'm making progress Cam. Should only be another 2 weeks.

Definatley will have more pics once I get it home and start installing the parts that are in my garage.
