Default 2011 GT500 + 146RWHP/+167RWTQ with VMP TVS Supercharger

I had a customer bring his new 2011 GT500 down from NC today. It only had 1000 miles on it, and half were from the drive here!

We baselined the car at 508RWHP/481RWTQ with the stock tune.

After that I got to work swapping the blower:

After a couple hours of wrenching and a few pulls to get it dialed in, these were the results:

The 2011s take to higher boost very easily. The stock CAI with the new for 2011 frequency based maf does very well at 17-19psi. The 11s actually have a feature that is very neat, they can increase alternator voltage based on fuel pump flow rate. With an extra .3v-.5v kick, the stock fuel pumps had plenty of capacity. Stock injectors were also doing fine. I was very happy with the results from a car with stock throttle body and low miles.

Just curious but your chart says the base run has 9.97 psi of boost. Shouldn't this be higher? i would estimated atleast 12 psi. Also couldnt a smaller pulley on the stock blower achieve atleast 13-14 if your reading is correct? I have seen claims of some pully and tune combos estimating 16 psi. I realize the new blower most likely has a better volumetric efficiency and can make more power, i am only curious if the stock blower could make similar numbers with a good tune and smaller pulley?

Red-GT500, that's actually in the high range for the stock blower's boost. Good stuff. I had 1psi less than that when stock but put down numbers just a bit higher than those. I have to say, though, that those are some incredible numbers on that new blower for it being such a tiny unit.

One other thing of note; I can tell that these guys have installed more than a few blowers on these cars! Notice the driver's side fuel rail has not been removed. When I installed my Whipple, I followed the directions to the letter only to later find it almost impossible to get the rear fuel injector and that back fuel rail bolt reinstalled. After going through all that aggravation, I realized that the driver's fuel rail didn't even need to be removed at all!!! Good job.

508 wheel stock..wow. Looks like the 5.0 isn't the only one that makes much higher numbers after a good break-in!

Stock is about 9-10psi. The stock blower with a pulley makes about 12-13psi. Stock blower with a 2.6 and OD lower makes 15psi.

Yeah I can definitely vouch for the vmp TVS... Heck my car 08 base roughly was 443 Rwhp and 435 torque
With high flow catted xpipe, stock tb and injectors: ford racing cold air intake PLUS Justin's VMP TVS quickly shot up to
676rwhp and 666 torque.. A gain of 200++ Rwhp and torque!!! If you can't say that is INCREDIBLE bang for your buck... Then what is...
