Just go up there with a copy of the Tsb and tell them your car is showing symptoms.. But make sure it does or you have one hell of an argument for them.

Also make sure it's the most current Tsb

I think team Shelby has it saved in one of the gt500 thread stickies

One of things you can do to see if the car is showing signs of the clutch going is...

On level ground and with the car running, push the clutch in and put it in 1st gear. Let off the brake and see if it creeps forward (or trys to). If it does, you have issues, if not, you're good.

In the tsb it tells you the hiss is normal, does it creep forward in neutral? then you have a problem, otherwise normal operation!
Or what he said ^^^^^^^^

Went up there. Told them the symptoms.

They said it can start slight and get worse over time so even if I have a bit of a symptom they said it needed to be done.
They seem to want to do the TSB.
I am having a grab from the clutch like it says as one of the symptoms in the TSB. At first I thought it may be how I was using it but now I don't think so.
They also said every Shelby that has been in there so far has been for this issue.
No engine issues or anything, said it always seems to be this issue.
They also said it is important because if it is not done it can lead to even worse problems such as syncro outage.

They said they want to do the TSB.

Well talk to them and talk to ford. Get a ford master mechanic to talk to your warranty company and tell they that you NEED to do this even if they embellish

Another question...

Don't you think also that if one of these is driven DAILY that this is BOUND to happen sooner or later given the source of the problem?

There is a guy there that I think is a master mech.
Whether he is or not he is there number one guy there.
I think he is though.
He is really nice and easy to work with and I actually talked to him. He seems to think it should be done.
And I know for a FACT that this guy KNOWS his stuff.
