Wow, that's a lot of water! From the first set of pictures, I would say it's fine. But you mentioned the water level went up to the hood?! At that point, I don't know. You would have to start it and find out. Nonetheless, it should have at least been parked up on the driveway.

So the car was parked, right? It was not driven in the OP pics? It kind of looks like the car is moving with the water looking like that but that could also just be because of the flow of the water hitting a stationary obstruction...
Ok fixed the addy. Yes the car was parked. That side of the street had the highest level of water. I'm just blasting this guy cause it makes me sick that people own cars like this and just *** them. Just plain sad

Yesterday I saw him get into his work truck and then leave. Oh and his work truck is a 2008 Harley Davidson Edition F150. He is a high priced coyote(I think)

Could be worse...it could've been salted ocean water rushing through. But I don't think this is any worse than driving that car on an extremely rainy day. Personally, I would park it on the driveway though.

Every day, people work hard to create new items that are idiot-proof, while nature is working just as hard to create new idiots. So far, I think nature is winning.

That is so sad.
Why would you even have a car like that if you aren't going to take care of it?
It wouldn't have taken that much for the guy to park his truck on the street and move the Shelby up into the driveway. Plus I bet parts for fixing anything on his truck that got wet would me MUCH cheaper than replacing all the possibly ruined parts on the Mustang.
