I test drove one with a glass roof and it made a lot of noise. I would go with the SVT pack. Just my opinion though.

If you are worried about the price difference, why not look at a 2011 with a couple thousand miles on it. It would save you a nice chung of change I'm sure... but there is always something nice about being the only owner, but you definitely pay for it.

Definitely get the GT500 though. Challengers are just boat anchors. I beat one pretty easily with a passenger with me in my 06 Mustang GT w/bolt-ons. Plus, for just a small amount of $, you can make these things into BEASTS!

Adidus, I have been trying to talk him into a used 2011, and he would get one, but it has to be just the way he wants it. (He is a perfectionist lol) He wants the Recaros, Nav, and glass roof.

Lindsay, I didn't even think about that, that's for the tip. It would be our car for trips and stuff so it would be nice if its quiet.

Aerboure, I love them too. So gorgeous.

Snake, we are paying off my car, paying off his bike, selling his bike, then selling his car. So we should be ready to buy by early to mid next year.

I'm wanting to wait until the '13s to come out so maybe we can get a break on the '12s, because of the different motors.
Oh and we did go look at a SRT Challenger today in Green with Envy. It's beautiful, but it just doesn't have the same aggressive look as the GT500.

Well, if price were no object, to be honest I'd probably rather be in an SRT8 Challenger than a GT-500. To me, both cars have plenty of performance for anything I would throw at them, but I like the muscular posture and look of the challenger better than the GT500. I love the styling of both, but the retro look of the challenger has always made me drool. The GT500 certainly looks more aggressive though. I also hear the challengers although boat like, have an amazing ride for longer driving and are just more spacey and comfortable.

Like others have said I think it would be smart to get a used 11 but I also know how it feels to want the newer/perfect option, since I ended up in an '11 when I could've probably gotten a steal on a 2010.

The bottom line is...you will always wish you had gotten the Snake if you get something else...dont settle if you have the means to get what you really wish to have...

Oh my god I'm so pumped for you! lol...I personally love the interior of the new snakes so I don't blame him for looking to the GT500! Been in both and honestly if it were going to be a daily driver I'd take the snake over the boss every day and twice on sunday!
