Default Lowering my '10

Well ive had my shelby for abt 3 weeks now and after giving her a good cleaning, i couldn't help to notice tht Ford still cant get rid of tht 4x4 look. So first thing is first, the car has to b lowered. 1.25 in will b fine and ford racing has springs, but u gotta get strut mounts and bumper jouncers and all tht good stuff. I want to know if anyone has any other suggestions. iknow the 07-09 shelbys have a different setup so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have the eibach pro-kit. Many people run this kit. It lowers it, but not to the eibach sportlines level (had the sportlines previously on my GT and it hurts performance and you'll bottom out on speed bumps frequently). You'll probably need an adjustable panhard bar as well to re-center the axle as it will most likely have one of the tires sticking out more on one side. Under hard acceleration, your car will want to slide out to that side and you don't want that to happen. You're probably looking at a $350 or so for the springs and panhard bar.

before and after lowering... not the best pics... It will handle much better when you have it lowered as well.

You can do just the lowering springs and and adjustable panhard bar and keep the shocks, struts, and strut mounts stock.

But if you want to change the struts, you'll need the 05-09 strut mounts. The 07-09 GT500 mounts are inexpensive though.

and if you plan on doing shocks/struts you might as well do it at the same time as the springs so you can save yourself the time of doing the job twice.

For your purposes, I would recommend our Sport springs for the GT500s: http://www.steeda.com/store/steeda-s...lby-gt500.html

They lower the vehicle approximately 1.2" (F) and 1.5" (R) and are made in the USA.

Let me know if I can get you a package together with our adjustable panhard bar.
